Manufacturing in extreme environment (cryogenic temperature, reduced gravity, nuclear irradiation, corrosion, etc.); in-space manufacturing; embed sensor in metallic components and structures; structural health monitoring (SHM); ultrasonic nanocrystal surface modification (UNSM); small machine-large part: hybrid segmented manufacturing; dissimilar materials joining; multi-physics and multi-materials model; biomedical computational fluid dynamics; Hybrid additive and subtractive manufacturing.
